All of Frost's poetry seems to have one thing in common. It all views loneliness and loss, and is somehow connected with nature. In the poem The Silken Tent, which is about Frost's wife, he refers to the tent ( his wife ) as free spirited and it seems as if she would float away into her own world if she wasn't tied down to earth by some responsibilities. Here I see the tent ( his wife ) as good, and the responsibilities as evil.
