"The Searchers" John Ford's acclaimed Western, was for me at least, not as good as advertised. Not to say the film was awful but there are some points of the film that were not very key on. Still the movie had some very good aspects to it, mostly cinematography. Some of the characters were: John Wayne, Jeffery Hunter, Vera Miles, and Natale Woods. …showed last 75 words of 1660 total…some draw backs as far as I'm concerned, yet it still is recognizable to me as a good film. But more important than my feelings towards the movie is the impact this film had on many like it and other films in the future. Some of the most epic scenes in movies have a lot to do with background and character development two things that John Ford does an excellent job of in this feature.
