the intrinsic value of non-humans, a sense of belonging within the cosmos and within nature will form, whereby humans regard themselves at one with the fauna, and consequently will practice an ethic of care and respect with their non-human neighbours. No longer will humans dominate their environment, but rather take into consideration the affects that their egocentric actions place upon the non-humans, and ultimately gain awareness of their responsibility and connection with the natural environment.
