Categorical Imperative commands state an act only on
that maxim which you can at the same time will to a
universal law. In other words an act that should be
followed only if people will follow it. If you jumped
off a bridge, think if everyone would do the same and
it would become socially accepted. It states an
interesting point if you think many of todays and the
past legislature was in fact developed

The only
place where I see this rule used on a daily basis is
with children. When exposed to a new environment a
child will see what everyone else is doing and follow.
Also children follow the adult influences around them
thats why your child is said to be a spitting image of
yourself. Still it doesn't decide what is right and
what isn't that choice is left to the one's the child
looks after.
