Scout is presented as the opposite of a Southern belle in To Kill A Mockingbird. Although Aunt Alexandria wants Scout to be like her, Scout still takes after her father, Atticus. Scout is very smart for her age and puts it to good use at times. Her confidence and spunk make her stick out in To Kill A Mockingbird. Scout has a very unique personality. It gets her in trouble sometimes but it helps her get out of tight spots too.
