With the affirmation of the resolution, the United States cannot be a democratic society, for people cannot dictate how their young are to be educated. Negating the resolution will better uphold the criterion of Democracy, and negation will better uphold community standards and the criterion of Social Order. Thus negating better upholds the value of Democratic Social Order.
