Getting Ahead with Reading
Growing up I remember when my parents would get my brother and I ready for bed and before the lights shut off it was story time. It was that special time for my brother and I to listen to our parents read to us about horses, far away islands and of talking plants. Overall, in the two books I felt that the children, as well as their parents would like the books. The books do their fair share to help increase vocabulary and reading skills. They also try to help provide a key message that the children will eventually be able to repeat in their lives as well. I defiantly feel that reading plays a vital role for children to get ahead in life by reading more books.
