As I am going to explain to you in this essay, the representation of products and people in advertisements has changed dramatically. In general the messages and values have not changed for Weetabix as the product is still represented as a cereal of nutrition and healthiness. The representation of products and people has understandably changed slightly to fit in with the niche target audience but on the whole I feel that the basis of Weetabix is still unchanged and original.
