version of this story has a great quantity of pros and cons that go hand in hand with the differences made from the novel. One of the positive things is the new, suspenseful plot that is completely new, so it will give a thrill to all, including those that read the story. In closing, I would like to state that Washington Irving's masterpiece was completely transformed when the 1988 film version of his work came out.
