In my opinion, Mr. Stavropolous and the DOW Company did not conform to only one style of decision-making. What developed were several types of decision-making. But encourages his managers to be more autocratic because he needs leaders to remain in control and make decisions on the spot. Overall, I see the company as a team-based system because the leaders, managers, and employees are pulling together to improve customer satisfaction, quality of products, and increase productivity.
