The plains Indians were an advanced unique nation of their time. Some people may perceive their cultural differences as 'cruel' or 'bloodthirsty'. …showed last 75 words of 772 total…day, in the sense that they were in tune with nature and loved and lived on land in harmony. They were forced to have warriors, not for the fun of killing but for their own protection, and the protection of their tribe. It was another necessity. Also, they did not set out to be bloodthirsty or cruel, when really it was all religion and custom. Overall I believe that the Native Americans were unfairly misjudged.
