The election of 2000 is one that we will all remember, not because the candidates but because of the state of Florida. While we all know that the United States voting system is far from perfect at least there are people and groups out there who are trying to improve it. And while H.R. 3295 may not solve all of our problems it is a start and if nothing else hopefully it will prevent the Presidential Election of 2000 from ever repeating itself.
