Leading stimulates high-performance by all staff, and controlling monitors progress and makes necessary changes to achieve stated goals as determined by the planning and organizing functions. While necessary for all four functions of management to be visible in an organization, all staff must participate in the day-to-day management of the functions. While not perfect, Lacey has the proper functions of management in place for long-term success.
