Gandhi passed away during a time when he desired to stop the animosity that the Hindus and Muslims expressed towards each other. Perhaps the true misfortune of Gandhi's life was that he achieved what not many in history could, but died without knowledge of his real impact or knowing that he was indeed a very "great" man.
