refusal to accept homosexuality. The United States has faced many similar challenges of equality in our past, from slaves to women voting rights, so why should this be any different? I believe peoples ability to adapt and accept homosexuality is greatly underestimated. Especially in the military, where it is very hard if not impossible to work so closely with one another and not know or at least have a strong suspicion if someone is gay.
