Canada is known worldwide as one of the freest countries, but there are still restrictions in the law that limit a person's liberty based on sexual preference. be happy; everyone has the right to be loved. As Tenzin Gyasto, the 14th Dalai Lama, said, "Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive." As was stated earlier, there are over 314 000 homosexuals in Canada who are currently under the scrutiny of the law, as far as marriage is concerned. Canada as a nation needs to celebrate the differences that this group of people can contribute to society, not condemn them.
