As I began this assignment of investigating how a work of art appears in person rather then as a computer reproduction, I ran across a fairly large problem. …showed last 75 words of 1078 total…in the textbook. Being that the same artist created both during the same time period, I can tell you several benefits I received from seeing the statue in person. The size was much larger than I expected, and the color, texture and intricacy were much more defined. Although I think that studying illustrations are very worth while, I think by seeing the art in person, the entire picture and objective of studying art is completed.
