"Educating Rita" is a play dealing with class boundaries and the issues surrounding it, set in 1980s. In those times, class was much more important than it is now. Although Rita undergoes the main transformation to become educated, Frank developed as well. He does have more confidence and Rita has brought his meaning of life back to him. Rita and Frank both help each other into becoming better and wiser people and are both grateful for that.
