to the attention the fact that the Constitution says that all men are created equal. If this is the case why is it not legal for gays to marry, we heterosexuals do it. I think that passing the amendment would segregate gays, in a way, because heterosexuals are, in fact, given the privilege (or "right") to marry. The whole gay union issue is more of a religious and moral issue rather than a rights issue.
