Ralph Stayer's article was very interesting. It really made me
believe that motivation is one of the keys to a successful company. After
asking himself what needed to be done to achieve the goals he was looking

the union feels that they are decreasing jobs not creating new
ones. The union is in business to create new jobs so their member base
increases in return paying them more dues. In closing I would just like to
say that this article's ideas and concepts were very interesting and would
probably work in most small businesses. However, it definitely would not
work in my place of business mainly because of the union.
