Not too long ago, a college student created a computer program that would change the world. This computer program is called Napster, and it has been terrorizing the music industry since it's conception in August of 1999. The only things standing in Napster's way is the RIAA, and the court's decisions. It seems as though the record companies will be happy, as long as they are getting money out of the whole ordeal. Whatever happens though, there will be numerous technological breakthroughs, and many new ideas will change the way online music is done.
