have changed since 1950 and the views of Key and Cash of southern politics are the same and the same as the events. They had to do with racial segregation and desegregation and all of this probably could have changed if the whites from the South weren't racist. It could have been changed sooner. But these were their beliefs and they fought hard for what they believed in. The blacks just fought harder and they won.
