Antigone The story of Antigone is a well-written play by Sophocles. Most of the writing in the strophe, and the antistrophe is metaphoric and quite poetic. These parts are a bit hard to conceive what is intended but the thought process is what makes the understanding worth all of the effort. …showed last 75 words of 621 total…they should accept Antigone. I did not like this story and would not recommend it to anyone. The characters are not interesting at all and have almost no moral value, for this reason I do not relate to them and could not get into this tale. If you were to take out the strophe and antistrophe there would be nothing good left of this story. I liken this story to a very bad soap opera.
