thout having the audience be so caught up in the violence and sexuality of the play. I think one of the greater challenges also comes with being able to give Strindberg's message accurately. Since so much of the play involves implied elements and hinted at events, any production is going to have somewhat of an ordeal trying to make the audience aware of the undercurrent without having to beat them over the head with symbolism.
