<Tab/>In summation, Sonnets 1, 18 and 116 demonstrate the theme of love through their various literary tools and the firm bond of the characters which they are based on. These sonnets have survived 400 years of English development and are still the standard of English institutions everywhere. The love displayed through these verses, is the true love between two people at it's finest and English literature at it's high point in history.
