The special need that I decided to research is Dyslexia. 'Dys' means 'difficulty' and 'lexia 'means 'words'. Dyslexia is a disorder that affects millions of people all over the world. It is one of several distinct learning disabilities that affect a person's ability to read. I began this project knowing very little about dyslexia, I am happy to say that I have learned a lot while researching it. I know I still have a lot to learn about it, and I hope that when I become a teacher, I will be able to successfully deal with the student's disability.
