On February 2, 2005 our president George W. Bush gave the state of the Union address. In Bush's speech he stated that, we must be," good stewards of our economy, immigration, Social Security, free society and terrorism." These were the main highlights that he proposed to do something about.

when I first heard this speech, but when Bush got to the fact that our societies Social Security was collapsing, I felt that he was trying to make an effort to cut down on governmental spending so we can save money and fix the horrible situation. I hope that in years to come we find a solution to the Social Security and solve save our economy from going into debt. <Tab/>
