TV violence plays a big part of our lives whether we realize it or not. The subliminal messages that we receive from everyday television shows are constantly changing our personality every time we watch. As we grow, and move on to more age appropriate shows, more of the graphic material comes through to us. From all the shows combined, we see obscene gestures, profanity, blood, threats, and gratuitous fighting.

an unimportant part of the show. So after reviewing the data, violence can be seen in popular entertainment. The majority of the viewers will become desensitized and find violence a viable solution because of this. It is a sad part of out culture that should be eliminated. Violence has purpose, but the youth can not judge when to use violence, and when to be passive, this is a lesson that is left for another time.
