ABSTRACT
This study was conducted to determine the effectivity of peanut meal as a
potential weed killer. Its objective was to find out if peanut meal would decrease the
number of weeds and/or inhibit weed growth and to detemine if the treatment would
be harmful to other plants.

not show any significant effect on the part of peanut meal as a weed killer. This
maybe due to the set up. There should be an isolation of the weeds from the plants.
Also it is better to include palay in the set-up. This can be done by having three
divisions with three subgroups each. In that way, the results would be more accurate
and date discrepancies would be less.
