economies must be held responsible for helping to stop the emergence of a "4th world", namely Africa. A relaxation of their protectionist policies and realization of the increased importance of this business to the farmers of the poorer countries is just one channel through which the powerful forces of globalization can help to bring positive change to all over the next ten years. Food shortfalls should be met from places better suited at producing it.
