Although this new global trend will continue to grow with increased technological improvements, the existence of nationalism seems to be a constant factor. Human nature instils hesitancy towards change and any perceived threat to one's lifestyle. Therefore, a universal culture and citizenship will only be a possibility after many years of gradual changes and acceptance in many different areas of society, economics and politics.
