Section 215 of the Criminal code clearly outlines restrictions regarding the withholding or withdrawal of medications to assist a suicide. This section states that, "every one is under a legal duty to provide necessaries of life to a person under his charge if that person is unable, by reason of (...) illness, mental disorder or other cause, to withdraw himself from that charge and is unable to provide himself with the necessaries of life."

religious rights. Euthanasia is not destined to be forced on any person, in that manor it becomes murder, it should be the choice of any person. I will not promote the suffering of any person against his or her will and I will condone those who do. Perhaps by suffering such an atrocious disease that death is the only escape will each individual understand the value of the freedom to life, liberty and conceivably death.
