Power is every-thing, it has almost become a proverb that: power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Being a solider in World War One would definitively show that this is to be true or at least that power does not show intelligence. Evil men beings will not stop at any thing to accomplish their desires, while it is the job of the good to stop them without stepping across the line. Tolkien show the conflict that arises when good faces evil and limited power faces unlimited malice.
