The 1920's should be known as the Roaring 20's. When its brief turn came, it had to be the biggest, the loudest, and the brightest. A calamity gave it birth, and a calamity ended it. The economy peaked and then hit an all time low. The end of this glorious era was gripped with the panic and suicides of many grief stricken investors. And all this happened within 6 months of Hoover's presidential inauguration. The Roaring 20's definitely went out with an enormous, ear-shattering BANG!!!
