The Industrial Revolution was a major turning point in world history. Since the industrial revolution took place textiles were easier to obtain, as well as easier to afford. People moved to cities and towns instead of living on farms. That was on of the biggest changes. After the industrial revolution we see what some people call the technological revolution, which is still going on today.
