(Enduring Love by Ian Mc Ewan) Love that endures is a main theme in the novel, and the strongest force in existence which has the capability of bridging those whose outlooks are diametrically opposite, for example, art, science and religion (Clarissa, Parry and Jed). But do they agree to disagree because of their love, or do they love because they agree to disagree on what makes up their whole livelihoods? I wonder if love is the only force which can completely bridge these ideas which are diametrically opposed?
