Jack in the Box could not avoid. Unless there is a public build of support in order to challenge GAAP guidelines regarding listing franchise sales as other revenue, this accounting practice is just and fair. An organization must put business ethics in front of profits to ensure that they do not become another WorldCom tribulation.
