Tragic Hero The play The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, by William Shakespeare, is about the assassination of a Roman ruler. Instead, he was persuaded to join the conspiracy, and he soon took charge without thinking of consequences. He may be seen as blind-sighted, foolish, and hasty. These things that tainted an otherwise noble Brutus, lead to his demise.
