rewarded or not. This story somehow reminded me of the story of Cinderella. She never complained about her life like Matilda did and her heart and mind were pure and her hard work and good intentions were rewarded. She ended in harmony. We don't know if Mrs. Forestier will give the necklace back to Matilda and her husband, but even if she does, will Matilda be happy, now when she lost her beauty and health?
