The results from the implementation of uniforms have convinced many school boards to adopt similar philosophies. However, these results seem superficial and fantastical while limiting one's freedoms. How can a shirt or tie maximize learning and level economic differences? How can it be the solution to the problems, which schools are facing?

As one can see, uniforms do not maximize learning nor does it level economic differences. It is a source of control. It limits freedoms and seems impractical. Therefore, one can conclude that uniforms are not the solution. Yet, through its misleading aura, it is gaining impetuous support throughout North America. If students do not want to be a 'school board's zombie', then uniforms must be strongly opposed while more agreeable methods are sought.
