If Britain and America didn't restrain France, and if it had depended entirely on Clemenceau, the treaty would have been much harsher for Germany. Summing up, I definitely think that the treaty wasn't at all fair, and that Germany should have paid some reparations and lost some territory - but maybe one or the other... or both to lesser degrees.
